John Boyd, The Cool Car Guy
I’m John Boyd, better known as The Cool Car Guy. Some people call me Johnny — which is why you’ll see Johnny Boyd as the author of Wicked Darkness. Same guy, same voice, just different hats depending on the project.

Yeah, I know… it’s kind of crazy.
But I really felt God calling me to write this book — and I couldn’t move on with my other “ad ventures” until I finished it. So I hit pause on everything else until I got this book launched and into the marketplace.

Sure, there are amazing vehicles out there… but the owners are often even more interesting.
Like an 84-year-old I recently met who asked me to help him find a new owner for his custom 1934 Ford Truck and a 1932 Coupe. He told me, “I’m just too damn old to keep working on that ride. It’s time to let some young guy buy it and finish what I started.”

After stepping away from a traditional dealership, my passion for cars still fuels this project. The plan is to make CoolCarGuy.com a hub for enthusiasts, featuring YouTube videos and personal stories about exceptional vehicles and their owners.
