The Social Media Problem of the Antichrist Today

There are thousands of YouTube videos discussing the Antichrist, the Beast, and the number 666 — ranging from biblical prophecy to wild conspiracy theories. As I explain in my book Wicked Darkness: Johnny’s Survival Guide to the End Times, this flood of information is one of the main reasons I wrote it. It’s my answer to the confusion, distortion, and absurdity surrounding Bible prophecy today.

For starters, I don’t base my interpretation of Scripture on 13th-century monks or scholars who lived before the invention of the automobile — and certainly before America uprooted three kingdoms to become the final empire of mankind. I base it on Scripture itself, illuminated by the Spirit, and viewed through the lens of the time of the end.

In Daniel 12, the angel tells the prophet:

“But thou, O Daniel, shut up the words, and seal the book, even to the time of the end: many shall run to and fro, and knowledge shall be increased.”

Look around. We’re living that prophecy in real time. The words were sealed — until now. And Daniel, overwhelmed by what he saw, asked:

“O my Lord, what shall be the end of these things?” And he said, “Go thy way, Daniel: for the words are closed up and sealed till the time of the end. Many shall be purified, and made white, and tried; but the wicked shall do wickedly: and none of the wicked shall understand; but the wise shall understand.”

That’s why I called this book and website Wicked Darkness. The wicked won’t understand what God is doing. But the wise — those who’ve accepted Christ and studied to show themselves approved — will. Satan won’t deceive those who are “wise as serpents and gentle as doves.” The rest of the world? Cooked. When the Beast ascends from the Abyss, they’ll worship him without hesitation.

“And from the time that the daily sacrifice shall be taken away, and the abomination that maketh desolate set up, there shall be a thousand two hundred and ninety days. Blessed is he that waiteth, and cometh to the thousand three hundred and five and thirty days.”

This is what’s coming when Israel builds its new temple and resumes sacrifices. The Beast will claim not to be a mere “god” like the Caesars of Rome — but G-D in the flesh, resurrected.

“But go thou thy way till the end be: for thou shalt rest, and stand in thy lot at the end of the days.”

Translation: Don’t sweat it, Daniel. This is for Johnny — and those living at the time of the end.

📖 The Sevenfold Revelation of the Beast

In my book, I explain in detail who the Beast is — and why. Revelation names him clearly, but what most Christians miss is that God also revealed him six other times in the Old Testament. You can call that a 666 coincidence, but I’d argue it’s impossible. These references span Job, Psalms, and Proverbs — three distinct authors, three distinct eras. No single person could have orchestrated this.

The seventh mention? Revelation 9:11 — where the angel of the bottomless pit is named Abaddon in Hebrew and Apollyon in Greek. He rises to inhabit the seventh king, who is slain and becomes the eighth. The Beast. The one who ascends from the Abyss and goes into perdition.

You don’t need to keep “looking for the Beast.” The Bible tells us who he is. The entire world will worship him — you won’t have to guess.
You’ll just have to choose whom you’ll serve. What you’re watching for is the seventh king, who will be killed and inhabited by the eighth.

Let’s unpack the seven verses that reveal the Beast — not just as destruction, but as identity, prophecy, and final deception.

1️⃣ Job 26:6

“Sheol is naked before God, and Abaddon has no covering.”

This isn’t poetic metaphor — it’s prophetic exposure. Abaddon, the fallen angel, is uncovered before God. No hiding. No protection. His judgment is coming. The Abyss is not sealed to God — and neither is the destroyer who rises from it.

2️⃣ Job 28:22

“Abaddon and Death say, ‘We have heard a rumor of it with our ears.’”

Abaddon and Death are personified — not places, but powers. What’s the rumor?
That Christ is coming. That their reign is ending. That the destroyer will be destroyed. Even the forces of darkness hear whispers of their defeat.

3️⃣ Job 31:12

“For that would be a fire that consumes to Abaddon, and it would uproot all my increase.”

This fire isn’t metaphorical — it’s eschatological. The Lake of Fire awaits Abaddon. His increase — his kingdom, his deception, his followers — will be uprooted. This verse foreshadows his final destruction.

4️⃣ Psalm 88:11

“Is your steadfast love declared in the grave, or your faithfulness in Abaddon?”

Yes. It is. Even in the reign of Abaddon, God is faithful. Christ descended into death and proclaimed victory (1 Peter 3:19). The saints who die under the Beast’s persecution carry their testimony into the grave — and God’s love follows them (Revelation 14:13). This verse becomes a banner of defiance: Even in the jaws of the destroyer, God is faithful.

5️⃣ Proverbs 15:11

“Sheol and Abaddon lie open before the Lord; how much more the hearts of the children of man!”

This is a sovereignty statement. God doesn’t just see Sheol and Abaddon — He owns them. Colossians 2:15 says He made a public spectacle of the rulers and authorities, triumphing over them. Abaddon’s kingdom — the Abyss, the Beast, the false resurrection — is laid bare before the Lord. And if God sees into the Abyss, He sees into the hearts of those who will follow the Beast.

6️⃣ Proverbs 27:20

“Sheol and Abaddon are never satisfied, and never satisfied are the eyes of man.”

Abaddon is insatiable — just like the Beast. “He has eyes of a man and speaks as a dragon” (Daniel 7:8, Revelation 13:11). His hunger for worship, for souls, for destruction — mirrors fallen humanity. This verse links the kingdom, the king, and the spirit of the destroyer.

7️⃣ Revelation 9:11

“They have as king over them the angel of the bottomless pit. His name in Hebrew is Abaddon, and in Greek he is called Apollyon.”

Here it is — the final revelation. The destroyer rises. The Beast is named. The seventh king is inhabited, and the eighth emerges — not as a man, but as the Beast. Literally. A false god, demanding worship not as one of many, but as the God of Israel and the God of the Universe.

And the world will worship — or be killed for non-compliance.

These aren’t scattered metaphors. They’re a sevenfold testimony. A prophetic fingerprint. A divine warning.

The Beast isn’t just a political figure. He’s a spiritual force. A fallen angel. A destroyer. And he’s coming to deceive, inhabit a modern dead Caesar, and demand worship.
